Does a long courtship equal a successful marriage?

I know people who've gotten married after the 1st month of knowing each other, and they last forever. I also know people who've gotten married after years of dating, and they get a divorce. I know people with an exact opposite of the stories I previously mentioned. Nevertheless, statistically speaking does a long courtship equal a successful marriage?
