Statistically is it safer to drive a car or ride a motorcycle?

they say about 5,000 people are killed every year on bikes and about 45,000 are killed in cars. But of course there are a lot more cars on the road. What is the Ratio of car accidents to cars on the road and bike accidents to bikes on the road. Btw I am a biker
