Once a business is bought by the Thomson empire it stays in the Thomson empire. Can anyone name a business venture that the Thomsons cut and ran on? Furthermore the Thomson family has demonstrated multigenerational stability for three generations now. Therefore I think Winnipeg will have a NHL team for a long time to come.
